Join Our Patient Advisory Group (PAG) – Your Voice Matters

We want to hear from you!

The Patient Advisory Group (PAG) is a group of patients who meet regularly to share their experiences, ideas, and feedback about the services we provide. By working together, we can improve healthcare services and ensure they meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve.

Why Join the Group?

By joining the PAG, you can:

  • Help improve healthcare services
  • Influence future developments
  • Ensure patient and community voices are heard
  • Support better access to care
  • Help tackle health inequalities
  • Shape services for future patients

We are building a group of up to 40 active members that reflects the diversity of patients registered across our three BrisDoc practices:

  • Charlotte Keel Medical Practice
  • Broadmead Medical Centre
  • The Homeless Health Service

To ensure the group represents our patient population, we are particularly keen to hear from:

  • Younger adults
  • People from Black African, Asian Indian and other underrepresented ethnic communities
  • People whose first language is not English
  • People with lived experience of barriers to healthcare
  • People experiencing homelessness or unstable housing
  • Carers and individuals supporting family members with health needs

Your experiences and perspectives will help us understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure our services are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of all patients.

What Does the Group Do?

The PAG helps by:

  • Providing feedback on services and patient experience
  • Identifying barriers to accessing healthcare
  • Supporting improvements to communication and information
  • Reviewing patient-facing materials and resources
  • Advising on local health priorities and projects
  • Helping us understand the needs of different communities

What Doesn't the Group Do?

The PAG does not:

  • Deal with individual complaints
  • Access patient medical records
  • Make clinical decisions
  • Discuss individual patient care or treatment

If you have a complaint or concern about your care, our practice team can advise you on the appropriate process.
