We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with Caafi Health, a grassroots organisation dedicated to supporting underserved communities in Bristol.

What is Caafi Health?

Caafi Health, founded by Huda Hajinur, a nurse practitioner, and Asha Mohamed, an adult care social worker, provides a safe and welcoming space where people can:

  • Access information and support about healthcare.
  • Learn through workshops and one-to-one coaching.
  • Overcome barriers to accessing NHS services.

Their services include:

  • Community outreach to engage and educate underserved groups.
  • Workshops and coaching to promote healthier lifestyles.
  • Raising awareness of cancer screening, Covid-19 vaccines, and other health topics.

Based at The Coach House in Portland Square, Caafi Health offers flexible support:

  • Online, by phone, or face-to-face.

Why This Matters

We know some people in inner-city Bristol face challenges when accessing NHS healthcare. Together with Caafi Health, we’re working to reduce these barriers and improve health outcomes for everyone in our community.

Dr Wil Klinkenberg, Clinical Director for BIC PCN, says:

“We’re thrilled to work with Caafi Health and look forward to hosting community outreach events to improve understanding and access to NHS primary care services.”

Asha Mohamed, Co-Founder of Caafi Health, says:

“This partnership creates new opportunities to address challenges in accessing healthcare and improve outcomes for all our diverse communities.”

Upcoming Events

We’ll be co-hosting outreach events with Caafi Health soon. Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved.
